How do I know this isn't a scam?
Chielson is a registered Amsterdam estate agency (KvK 72836679), based at Koningsplein 10K and run by Michiel — a licensed estate agent and a qualified jurist (lawyer). Every lease we handle is legally checked in-house before you sign, and you can always reach a real person.
Who pays your fee — and is it legal?
You do, as the house-seeker — one month's rent (excl. VAT, with a minimum of €2,000 excl. VAT for a one-bedroom home and €2,550 excl. VAT for a two-bedroom home) plus a €750 advance that's fully offset against it. We work for you, not the landlord, so there's no illegal double commission. No hidden admin or contract fees.

Can I register (BSN) at the address?
Yes — we focus on registration-friendly homes and arrange your gemeente registration and BSN as part of the service, so you're not stuck in the BSN catch-22.
